Viva Vania Romoff!

Having been given the privilege of a sneak preview of the Vanity of Dressing collection of Vania Romoff during fitting sessions, the operative words holiday chic come to mind. The luxurious collection drew inspiration from the eclectic style of the young designer, who is a scion to the Romoff fashion empire. The collection presents a diverse assortment with a modernistic approach in style.

The casual chic line infuses a palette of rich earthen shades and natural hues like oatmeal, ash, white, navy and olive with a new element of sartorial sophistication. Not to be outdone is the men's wear collection. It focuses on fine craftsmanship, a commitment to classic detailing, add a dash of new silhouettes, and presto! The collection strikes a balance between rugged edge (with the military inspired trousers and jackets) and a fresh sensibility. Evening wear is a gleaming range of white strapless ballgowns with lots of sheen, a pink bubble gown and trapeze dresses with exquisite beading adding to the luxe factor. This translates into a cool, contemporary mood with the "less is more" mantra in accessorizing.

Vanity of Dressing by Vania Romoff will be unveiled tonight 8:30 p.m. with cocktails at 7:30 at the Casino Español de Cebu. Top models from M.A.C.>Models Association of Cebu like international model Marjay Ramirez, Melanie Ediza and Stephanie Señires will walk the runway for Vania Romoff.
