Dalit Bisaya: A Cultural Show

Dalit Bisaya, a cultural show to be staged this Sunday evening, December 3, 2006, at the USC Cultural Center, is a component of a larger event dubbed "Dalit Bisaya Panaghiusa Pinaagi sa Kultura!"
It is an initiative of a group called Kapunungan Bisaya sa Manila (KBM) and the University of San Carlos.
There are five major events namely 1) Exhibits at SM Trade Hall showing Cebuano history culture and heritage, 2) Re-staging of "Elena", a play by Don Vicente Sotto which features the USC Theatre Guild (Dec 1, 7:00 pm USC Cultural Center), 3) an academic symposium on Cebuano Heritage with Dr. Jose Abueva, Dr. Francisco Nemenzo and Archt. Melva Java as speakers, 4) a Free concert featuring Maria Donna, Jimmy Marquez and 4 bisrock bands (December 2, 6:00 pm USC Gym) and 5) Dalit Bisaya: A cultural Show (December 3, 7:30 USC Cultural Center) with USC Performing Arts Group, Cebu Team Dancesports Kids, and song divas Dulce and Pilita Corrales.
All the numbers of the Dalit Bisaya cultural show will be Visayan music and dances including comedy skits featuring tigmo tigmo, sanglitanan and balitaw. Admission is free.
Rekindle the true spirit of being a Cebuano and be proud of being one. Maayong pagtan-aw!
