Norkis Yamaha images: Seeing Red
October 13, 2006 | 12:00am
In celebration of M.A.C.>Models Association of Cebu's tenth year of producing top models, Norkis Yamaha commissioned photographers James and Michelle Go for a photo shoot. The result of the aesthetic conglomeration were ten fabulous images that went on exhibit at the Paseo Marina in Ayala Center Cebu. For those who missed it, this spread features the abovementioned images, minus four, that came out two weekends ago.
Apropos to the images are the haute couture confections of Cebu's more recognizable designers, the likes of Protacio, Marichu Tan, Ren Manabat, Edwin Ao, Ray Kuan, Wendell Quisido, Joy Bernaldez and Philip Rodriguez. Even more interesting is the fact that various shades of red: from scarlet to vermillion, ruby to late sunset red, and fire engine to blood red, are splashed on the designers' collections in different silhouettes, fabrics, textures and ornamentations.
A preview of the shapes to come, perhaps, for the holidays? Feast your eyes also on the latest Norkis Yamaha bikes from the Nouvo, Mio, Crypton Z to X-1. Indeed, Norkis Yamaha's battlecry of marrying style and function is very evident in these visually stimulating images as styled by maquillage expert Wenwen Zaspa and assistant Manuel Pila. Bravissimo!
