The Launching Of O

The popular Formo lounge at the Banilad Town Center became the venue to a dizzying spectacle of lovely, glamorous guests who gathered for the launching of a glamour book.

"O" is a photographic work of art by talented and accomplished photographer Emilio Juan "Jon" Unson and imaginative make-up artist Romero Vergara that showcases the island's fascinating and fashionable ladies and debonair gentlemen.

The participants enthusiastically worked together, combining their own little illusions with the artists' creative genius and imagination -all for fun, fantasy and flare.

Several daring souls such as fashion designer Philip Rodriguez, jewelry designer Butch Carungay, and Waterfront Hotel Cebu General Manager Marco Protacio gamely submitted to face painting while Jaja Chiongbian in flaming red lipstick and Cacay Moras in black are striking examples of simplistic beauty. The city's much sought-after artists and designers are represented, as well. They include Arcy Gayatin, Albert Arriba, Joy Bernaldez, Jun Escario, Protacio, and Oj Hofer. Ageless beauties Rosebud Sala, Teresin Mendezona, Fe Sala Villarica, Elizabeth Gan-Go, and Amparito Lhuillier are likewise featured, and so are stylish matrons Margot Osmeña, Ming Ming Gullas, Marguerite Lhuillier, Iris Arcenas, Joanna Lhuillier, Joy Onglatco and Aimil Sarmiento.
