The Faces of Fashion TV: Kris Janson & Mia Arcenas

FREESTYLE - FREESTYLE By Dexter Alazas -
Fashion TV Model School Philippines is once again on high gear as it welcomes aspiring young models for the much awaited launch of Batch 3 for this year. The 5-week modeling course will introduce entrants to an extensive training covering classes on Fashion and Personality Development by Fashion TV producer Rebecca Piket, while Commercial and Photographic Modeling will be handled by top trainer Daisy Baad and ace photographer Ted Madamba. Runway Modeling will be taken cared of by supermodel Tweetie De Leon-Gonzales and the country's top fashion director Jackie Aquino. Best of all, this month-long program will culminate in a gala fashion spectacle featuring the best designers of Clothes For Life - Cebu.

FTV Model School has produced a lot of promising models that are getting a lot of attention these past months in this city's fashion circuit. Kris Tiffany Janson ( Most Promising Student , FTVMS Batch 1) and Marie Irisha Arcenas ( Most Promising Student Batch 2 ) , are two of the prettiest mannequins in Cebu today who have been signed on as the Faces of the new FTV Model School Philippines ad campaign. " Kris and Mia embody so many qualities of what FTVMS represent. They are young, confident, versatile and dynamic," Rebecca Piket pointed out.

Kris and Mia projected their own stylish personas as they were photographed by Ted Madamba at Studio 125 in the making of the ad campaign. The ever energetic hair and make up artist Wen Wen Zaspa created different looks for the models while this writer gathered evening pieces from my Alazas Atelier line to achieve the over all concept of the shoot. Both wore contrasting Black & White cocktail numbers in one layout, accessorized with silk flower brooches on

the waist belts. The other Versatility Concept was styled with Kris projecting a minimalist look while wearing a classic black tulle lace bustier gown and donning a romantic and dreamy expression; whereas Mia wore a wine colored corseted Indian silk ensemble, projecting a gypsy-moon vintage inspired look with a relaxed and carefree expression. The shoot produced captivating results that sealed in the models' signature looks, and somehow may pave the way for a burgeoning modeling career ahead of them.

Kudos to both Kris and Mia, for fashionably setting the trend for aspiring and professional models, and FTV for pioneering a localized workshop by updating modeling skills and teaching students to learn new tips from the FTV experts , most especially on how to break through the global modeling market.

This also gives the chance for local modeling agencies here in Cebu to enroll their own stable of talents and let them experience an international feel , as in the case of AD Model Management , who encouraged and sent in Alisson Angbetic , Sharon Angel , Nicole Hauser , and Kris Janson. The new Fashion TV Model School Batch 3 AD Campaign will be unveiled this October as Batch 3 will be introduced to the public soon.

Here are some of the behind the scenes look at the making of the FTV Model School Batch 3 AD campaign with the models & the style crew.
