Miss Carmen 2006 Search

Sunday night. August 27, 2006 - Kudos to the organizers of the Miss Carmen 2006 beauty pageant headed by SB Member and Chairman Hon. Zaldy Capuno of the Municipality of Carmen, Cebu.

Held at the Carmen Gymnasium, the beauty search exposed twelve young lasses in different festival costumes endemic to the province of Cebu during the eye-catching production number. Sky blue playsuits and line-designed eveningwear were provided by designer Bernardo Flores.

The candidates were sponsored individually by the following - Marquin Construction, Carmen SK Federation, Carmen Municipal Officials, Golden Harvest Pond, San Juan Purified Water, Pua Enterprises, Borbon Haulers, Shemberg Biotech Corp., Vice Governor Greg Sanchez Jr. and Crystal Clear.

Production director Deo J.Generalao directed the whole concept while choreographer Geofhil V. Bontia and rehearsal masters JM Damiles and Reyrey Castro facilitated the production numbers of the candidates. Carmen celebrated its annual fiesta in honor of its Patron St. Augustine.

The pageant was graced by Hon. Red Durano of the 5th District and hearthrob Star in a Million finalist Ryan Nacal.
