For would-be couples: Be original. After the church ceremony, hop to a scenic or a historical landmark and take souvenir shots before heading to the reception. It will be unforgettable. (adlib style concepts)
February is definitely the love month of the year. It's not just because of Valentine's Day on the 14th, where lots of hearts swoon for love and emotion, but lovers and engaged couples opt to tie the knot at this time of the year. Yes, it's also coined as the wedding season. I personally have three brides and grooms to dress up this February. And boy! are they full of love and affection!
With the collaboration of Erwin Lim, the busy photographer who juggles time and tide being a dentist and a lensman, we selected historical landmarks of Cebu to capture a beautiful mix of designer bridal masterpieces with sites to behold.
Maquillage masters Roy Tizon and Enrico Lingao-lingao whisked their brushes to compliment the whole look of the moment. And voila! Here comes the bride!
Beautiful models, to reinact the romantic mood and the look that says it all, entice "I do's" to hopeful couples. Marianne Mader, who hosts a local variety show, and Angie Lelis, the statuesque runway model, posed and poised to perfection.
A wedding is like a fashion show, where real people walk the aisle in style, and the bride is like the finale where all gets to see the beauty and elegance of the designer's statement. On this spread, Cebu fashion designers Dino Lloren, Ivan Belocura and this writer take a bow.
We show how grace and charm are the key essentials to bridal fineries. The gown has to have a life in itself, a story to be told, and a look that's unforgettable. For would-be brides and grooms, here's a look at how fashion and photography play an integral part on your wedding day.
