"Gary's a very good friend of mine. He has always been very supportive of Citichurch. He once asked me how he could help us," Pastor Jo Alfafara disclosed.
Citichurch started its regular services last January and has been serving the spiritual nourishment of every Christian.
Pastor Jo said that Gary V.'s concert will formally launch Citichurch. Indeed, the concert - Gary V: Soul Full - is a good idea to launch the church since Citichurch celebrates life, like the songs of Gary V. Citichurch is new to Cebuanos-it is the first and only one in Cebu. Pastor Jo said that Cebu needs a contemporary church that is neither formal nor rigid nor spiritualistic but fresh.
He added that God's calling for Cebu is not just about Christianity but also by making Cebu "like Him, Christ-like - real, down to earth, and practical."
Citichurch believes that the problems and crisis that our country is facing will eventually be solved. "Everything ends up with God," Pastor Jo said. He pointed out that Citichurch is hopeful to bring about positive change in Cebu.
Once again, Mr. Pure Energy will sing his unforgettable songs - the songs that captured Cebuanos' heart and soul.
