More explosive chapter, new cast members
MANILA, Philippines — Primetime King Coco Martin promises a more explosive “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” as the hit action series officially introduced its newest cast members for the start of its third year during a “Saludo Kay Tanggol” grand Kapamilya homecoming held at ABS-CBN on Tuesday (January 28).
“Pinag-aralan namin mabuti ‘yung bawat kwento, bawat character, at kung paano namin itatahi ‘yung original na kwento at original na mga character sa bagong kwento at mga bagong character. Sinisiguro ko sa lahat ng mga Pilipino na mas maganda, mas maantig, mas maaksyon, at mas madrama ngayon ang ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’” shared Coco.
The red carpet event welcomed the newest cast members as the series celebrates the start of a new chapter, led by Jake Cuenca, Andrea Brillantes, Albert Martinez, Angel Aquino, Chanda Romero, Shamaine Buencamino, Juan Rodrigo, Dante Rivero, Michael De Mesa, and Celia Rodriguez, including Paolo Paraiso, Albie Casiño, Gillian Vicencio, Alhdrin John Opilac, Ahl Opilac, and Diana Opilac.
ABS-CBN employees and executives were also in attendance, led by chairman Mark Lopez, president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO Cory Vidanes, and Star Magic and TV production head Laurenti Dyogi, to show their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the team behind the primetime teleserye.
Among those who were honored and walked the red carpet are current and new cast members, “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’s” creative team, production staff, and directors.
“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” continues to bring joy and entertainment to Filipino households with its record-breaking success, after the series hit a new all-time high record of 803,123 peak concurrent views on Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube last January 23.
“FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” which is inspired by the original story of Regal FILMS, airs weeknights at 8 pm on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, iWantTFC, and Kapamilya Online Live. The latest episodes are available on-demand for up to 21 days after they are first streamed on Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube.
