Lessons from ‘Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita’

CEBU, Philippines - Viewers are all praises for the life lessons shared by the story of the teleserye “Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita,” which aired its emotional finale yesterday.

Bravery is one trait that emanates both from Cecilia (Vina Morales) and Corrine’s (Jane Oineza) characters. In the story, Cecilia tries to win back her husband (Christian Vasquez) from her mistress. But as she realizes that she’s all on her own, she empowers herself by having a successful career and being focused on taking care of her kids. Corrine, on the other hand, gets pregnant at an early age but keeps her baby and bravely faces people’s judgments. Meanwhile, Bea symbolizes a traditional Filipina who prioritizes education and waits for the right time to love. While Toni makes wrong decisions in the past, she learns not to be selfish and give way for other’s happiness.

The series also showed how loving Cecilia is as a mother to her children. In her early years, Cecilia was abandoned by her father Paciano (Dominic Ochoa), which hurt her so much. With this, she gives so much love and protection for Corrine and Bea and makes sure her two daughters will not experience the same fate.

Love also prevails in the lives of the lead characters. Cecilia, Corrine, Bea, Leandro, and Toni eventually make amends due to the overflowing love that they have for each other. They also learn to accept each other’s faults and pick up the pieces to make themselves whole again.

Since it aired in January, “Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita” consistently won the ratings game as it charmed viewers with its life lessons and thrilling episodes.
