Auditions for The Voice of South Town
CEBU, Philippines – South Town Center, the newest shopping capital of Cebu South, invites all high school and college student singers to join the first-ever The Voice of South Town Center – A Campus Battle (VOST-C). Auditions will be held on December 13, Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 nn and December 14, Sunday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Auditionees need to bring the following requirements during the auditions: original and photocopy of school ID; single or accumulated receipts from any of the mall’s tenants not less than P1,000 (December 5 to 14 transactions); a CD-DVD-format copy of contest piece not exceeding three minutes; and fully filled-up application form. Application forms are available at the customer service and the administration office.
Those who are shortlisted during the auditions will undergo the weekly eliminations on December 20 and 27; and January 4, 7, and 24, 2015. Ten lucky finalists will face each other in the grand finals on January 25, 2015, at the South Town Center Activity Area.
The VOST-C aims to give student-amateur singers the chance to develop their talent in singing and provide the necessary exposure that will pave for them the way to the music industry. The contest also prepares them for the local and international singing competitions.
