Hed Kandi founder comes to Cebu

CEBU, Philippines - Mark Doyle is a pioneer of distinct clubbing music and has been responsible for providing us good vibes since 1999. He is known for creating one of the first and best clubbing labels, Hed Kandi, and has sold millions of a series of albums including “Back to Love,” “Twisted Disco,” “Beach House,” “Disco Heaven,” “Disco Kandi,” “Nu Cool,” “Serve Chilled,” “Stereo Sushi,” and “Winter Chill.” With his marketing vision and passion for music, DJ Mark Doyle pretty much established the Hed Kandi label single-handedly.

Though founded by Mark, Hed Kandi was a label under JazzFM Records, a company that had been placed under new management. With the difference in direction, Mark decided that the only way to maintain creative control was to step away and start his own label. In 2006, Mark then created Fierce Angel, a completely independent record label and event company whose sole purpose was to build on the philosophy and values Mark had introduced to Hed Kandi.

Having worked with notable artists like Bonnie Bailey and Bassmonkeys, Fierce Angel has traversed the world with its events and has even dominated the airwaves as its radio show is now broadcasted on over 25 stations in over 20 countries. As if this wasn’t enough for Mark, he also finds time for creative exercise through producing and writing his own material under the guises of Fac15 and The Fierce Collective. Releases so far include the disco anthem “Haven’t You Heard” and “Twisted By The Pool.”

Mark’s style has been honed by over 20 years of experience, an encyclopedic knowledge of dance music and the ability to read a dance-floor whether it’s in The UK, Australia, or Ecuador.

With his electrifying beats, DJ Mark Doyle will be bringing Fierce Angel to Cebu at the launching of Crimson Resort & Spa’s newest seaside bar, Azure Beach Club on October 24, Friday.
