New timeslots for ‘Wish Ko Lang’ and ‘Imbestigador’

CEBU, Philippines - Have an inspiring Saturday afternoon as “Wish Ko Lang!” continues to provide viewers with touching stories, unforgettable surprises, and heart-warming social experiments as it airs on a new timeslot at 4 p.m. beginning today.

This Saturday, “Wish Ko Lang!” discovers Xirly, a lady guard who gets a rare photo opportunity with Regine Velasquez-Alcasid when the artist visited a mall recently. According to the lady guard, her photo with the Kapuso star will surely delight her cancer-stricken daughter, Jocelyn, who is an avid fan of the Asia’s Songbird. Find out if Jocelyn will just enjoy seeing a photo of her mom and her idol or will she turn ecstatic if she sees Regine up close and personal?

“Wish Ko Lang!” also features a social experiment about a nurse who loses her temper to an elder patient.  Find out who will stand up and protect the elder patient against a hot-tempered nurse portrayed by veteran actress Chanda Romero.

The episode also taps Callalily’s vocalist Kean Cipriano to reach out to his fans by making a surprise visit in some of the hip hangout places today. Catch all these inspiring stories in “Wish Ko Lang!,” hosted by Vicky Morales, right after “Startalk” on GMA-7.

Meanwhile, “Imbestigador,” the country’s longest-running investigative program and one of GMA News and Public Affairs flagship programs, moves to its new time slot – Saturday afternoon after “Wish Ko Lang!,” also beginning today.

Now on its 14th year, “Imbestigador” combines drama and reality as it strengthens its brand of being the public’s defense against injustices.  Dramatizations of exceptional production value starring topnotch actors are usually complemented by actual footage of gripping surveillance operations that end with arrests and prosecution of erring individuals.

“Imbestigador” is hosted by internationally-awarded broadcast journalist Mike Enriquez who will stop at nothing in his mission to go after those who break the law and those who believe they are above the law.
