Y101 FM has new website look

CEBU, Philippines - For over 35 years of providing on-the-fly programming, Y101 FM continues reaching out to their listeners and keeping with its tagline “Y101 Always First” by launching the new look of their cutting-edge website www.y101fm.com.

According to Y101 FM president Mike Solon, they decided to launch a new look online to be current with their listeners, and to also cater more to the needs of their advertisers.

Solon added that the fresh and new look of the Y101 FM website primarily features different articles about travel, food, adventure, and gadgets targeted to the young market.

“We want to be able to give information to our listeners in terms of where to go, what to eat, what gadgets to buy and also basically to our clients so we can also help them promote their products,” Solon said.

Aside from the different articles, information and promos that you can find, the website features a Chat Column wherein members of the Y101 community can interact with each other.

The new y101fm.com also streams music 24/7, making it visible not only in Cebu, but globally, as well. You can also listen and watch them live through its state-of-the-art-high-definition streaming, phenomenally popular shout box and other interactive options.

They also have a Twitter panel where one can interact with the Y101 community by using the hash tag “#y101fm.” One can also engage in mobile streaming by downloading the Y101 App that runs on smart phones, laptops and other devices.

During the launch at Ayala Center Cebu’s Activity Centre, Solon expressed how Y101 FM differs from other radio stations in the country.

“Y101 is actually a radio station that talks to its market, talks to its listeners. Our DJs are salesmen – if you advertise with them, we sell you not only in advertising , but we sell you in our adlibs. Aside from that, we are very innovative. We just don’t stay at the radio but we are now on the website. We want to be always first, always relevant with the times.” (FREEMAN)
