Australian Gabriel Lynch to perform at Gilt Artisan Lounge

The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - Gabriel Lynch, an Australian singer-songwriter known for his honest storytelling and heartwarming melodies, is coming back to Cebu and performing at Gilt Artisan Lounge on April 29.  His gig at Gilt is part of his “Some of Us” tour that is hitting Southeast Asia starting April 21. He will be showcased at Gilt at yet another wonderful installation of “Folk City,” the pop-up music event conceived by Cebu-based indie label, 22 Tango Records.

BMA Magazine, an Australian street press and music magazine, endearingly called Lynch “one of the best Aussie male voices you’ve never heard.” The independent musician, having travelled extensively across Europe, Asia, and his native Australia, was called by Iceland National Radio  “Asia’s Damien Rice minus the cheese.”

Lynch’s stint at Gilt will give music lovers a chance to hear songs from his upcoming album, “All of Us,” as well as tracks from his past releases “Passerby Chorale” (2012) and  “Dependent State” (2013).

One of Lynch’s songs, “What Friends Are For,” from his “Dependent State” album will be included in 22 Tango Records’ soon-to-be-released various artists compilation dubbed Folk City.

Catch the summer-hype with heaps of sweet and intoxicating melodies as Gabriel Lynch performs at the Gilt Artisan Lounge on April 29. Also performing will be 22 Tango Records’ home artists, Ella Melendez and Mary Anchit, as well as electro act, Luxxx. The show starts at 9 p.m.
