Dennis Trillo commits another 3 years with GMA-7
Award-winning actor Dennis Trillo renewed his contract with the Kapuso network for another three years. The former Kapamilya star found a new home in GMA-7 ten years ago and Dennis must have liked the way the network has charted his career since joining them that he didn't think twice in inking a new deal. He opted to sign a three-year deal although there were speculations that he was thinking of going back to being a Kapamilya. But he was only offered a per show contract by Channel 2 so Dennis and his manager, Popoy Caritativo deemed it wise to renew his contract with GMA-7 and stay a Kapuso for the next three years.
In fairness to GMA-7, they have given Dennis good programs, the last one was the groundbreaking series "My Husband's Lover," for which Dennis garnered a nomination from the 5th Golden Screen Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Drama Series.
"My Husband's Lover" also got a nomination as Outstanding Original TV Drama, as well as acting nominations for Tom Rodriguez (Outstanding Performance by an Actor in Drama Series), Carla Abellana (Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Drama Series), Glydel Mercado (Outstanding Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Drama Series) and Kevin Santos (Outstanding Performance by a Supporting Actor in a Drama Series). The winners will be announced on March 21 at the Teatrino at the Promenade, Greenhills, San Juan City.
Dennis had previously won the Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Drama Series for a GMA-7 afternoon drama from the Golden Screen TV Awards. He was also a winner of the Breakthrough Performance by an Actor from the Golden Screen Awards for his work as a gay spy in "Aishete Mas 1941" and Outstanding Performance by a Supporting Actor for "Mano Po 6."
When asked if he would be open to have a part two of "My Husband's Lover," Dennis said he would like to do a prequel. If we remember right, MHL director Dominic Zapata said sometime last year that they were thinking of having a sequel. For sure, the creative team behind MHL can think of a way to create a new story for the characters of Dennis and Tom.

Monster Energy Drink was one of the prime sponsors of Ken Block's Japan Experience promotion which was launched in Manila last Feb. 4 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
Actress and fitness enthusiast Ellen Adarna graced the event as she dared Filipinos to go extreme and be part of this one-of-a-kind experience.
At Monster, they support the scene, bands, athletes and fans. They back athletes so they can make a career out of their passion. They promote concert tours, so that favorite bands can visit different home towns. They celebrate with their fans and riders by throwing parties and making the coolest events.
Some companies won't let you have any gear unless you're on the payroll. Monster is all about fans rocking the Monster logo the way they want — on hats, shirts, MX bikes, trucks, gear, or even on themselves. Their idea of a promotion isn't giving away a TV you already got, but their promos offer exclusive VIP access, insane trips hanging with top musicians, athletes, and real gear like dirt bikes, snowboards, BMX bikes, rims and helmets.
