CEBU, Philippines - Cebuanas who epitomize fair, glowing skin and an inner beauty that radiates effortlessly vied for the Miss Beauty All Over title during the grand finals held Dec. 5th at the sixth floor activity area of Metro Ayala Cebu. The pageant, presented by Block & White and Eskinol, held a similar search in Davao, General Santos City and Pangasinan. Batangas will be the contest’s next stop.
The star of the evening was 20-year-old Hotel Restaurant Management major of the University of Cebu Kandee Lea Meshew, who bagged the Miss Beauty All Over title among nine other contenders. A Fil-Am whose mother hails from Ormoc City, Meshew said she joined the pageant because “I wanted to enhance my confidence when it comes to speaking to people and to a crowd, since that skill is very useful in my college course.†She who won P25,000 and sponsor prizes.
Miss Eskinol Face of the Night was Rica Maricor Agujar, while Miss Block & White Fair Skin was awarded to Jenny Ros Rasmussen. Candidates Ryannah Christine Mosley and Florigane Dalogdog also made it to the top five.
Kapamilya teen sweetheart and Eskinol/Block & White endorser was the evening’s special guest. After helping award the winners, Julia took time to sign autographs and take photos with her Cebuano fans. – VAB (FREEMAN)
