‘My Lady Boss’ hits local screens July 3

CEBU, Philippines - Avid Chard-Yan (Richard-Marian) followers need not wait any longer as their screen idols reunite in the happiest, most colorful and most romantic movie of the year, “My Lady Boss” from Regal Entertainment, Inc. and GMA Films.

It hits local screens on July 3.

Directed by Jade Castro, “My Lady Boss” boasts of non-stop kilig moments from start to finish.

If Richard and Marian’s first big screen partnership, the blockbuster “My Best Friend’s Girlfriend” showed a more restrained tandem, this time, the actor and the actress let it all loose in order to give justice to their more mature roles.

Titillating scenes included in the trailer are but a few example of how the two lead stars have evolved as actors. Moviegoers are in for a lot more once the movie is shown and they are sure to utter “Ohhhhs!” and “Ahhhs!” at every turn.             

In the movie, Marian plays Richard’s cold-hearted lady boss who eventually sheds off her mask and falls for the latter’s irresistible charm.

Playing the part of a romantic-comedy leading man is such a breeze for Chard. But he made sure to give his “My Lady Boss” character a unique touch knowing how special Marian is to him as a partner.

At certain points while filming, kibitzers on the set even noticed their extra closeness and sweetness as if they were a real-life pair.

Both Chard and Yan know that “MLB” could be their last team-up for the meantime. So, they really gave the movie their all and made sure it will leave a mark in their fans’ hearts.

Observers say the two lead stars’ chemistry in their reunion movie is simply electrifying such that their producer and director, including the production staff can’t help but agree that “Richard and Marian are at their best in ‘My Lady Boss.’”

Today’s hottest primetime actor Tom Rodriguez adds zest to “My Lady Boss.” Also in the cast are award-winning artists Ronaldo Valdez,  Maricel Laxa, Rocco Nacino, Sef Cadayona and more.
