TV5 brings fresh new programs to Cebu

CEBU, Philippines - Cebuanos are in for a fresh and fun weekend as TV5 presents its newest programs in news and entertainment. The two-day event kicks off  today, April 13, with a mall show happening in Parkmall, North Reclamation Project at 4:00PM. News anchors Atty. Frank Malilong, Jr. and Atty. Georgia Herrera of Aksyon Bisaya will be at the event, as well as some of the personalities of Radyo Singko 101.9 News FM.

Since its launch, Radyo Singko has changed the landscape of Cebu’s airwaves by offering quality news programs broadcast in the FM band. Leading the way is the popular morning program Frankahay Ta! by Atty. Frank Malilong, Jr. Also joining the festivities is Titus Borromeo of new morning program Good Morning Cebu. Attys. Omar Redula and Briccio Boholst of the public service and legal aid program Tambag Ni Torni (TNT) complete the line-up of TV5 and Radyo Singko’s formidable broadcasters. The two anchors are also set to conduct TNT Barangay Legal Aid today (April 13) at 7:00AM in Barangay Lorega, Cebu City—made possible by the support of SMART, Talk ‘N Text and Virginia Foods.

 TV5 stars will also be at the Saturday event to entertain Cebuano Kapatids. Cebu’s own and TV5 primetime princess Eula Caballero leads the cast of Kapatid Network’s newest “pampamilyang fantaserye” Cassandra: Warrior Angel. Fans will also meet Akihiro Blanco and Chanel Morales from Istorifik: Pidol’s Kwentong Fantastik and Victor Silayan, one of the sizzling personalities in TV5’s new reality show Boracay Bodies. Another Cebu gem, Kanta Pilipinas grand winner Chadleen Lacdo-o, will serenade her kababayans during the show. Finally, see the stars of TV5’s first ever blocktime Cebuano teleseryes Manok Ni San Pedro and Antigo.

 Cebuano cabbies are also invited to get marked during the special Radyo Singko Taxi Squad event on Sunday, April 14, at Parkmall starting at 7:00AM. Free snacks and refreshments await those who sign up and participate.
