CEBU, Philippines - In its continuing efforts to beef up all-day viewership, the Kapatid Network positions Willie Revillame’s new variety game show Wowowillie in the noontime slot starting January 26 (Saturday), 11:30am-2:30pm.
TV5 teams up with Wil Productions to raise the bar in noontime viewing with a new show for Filipinos here and abroad. “We’re very excited to bring Wowowillie to every household because this is TV5’s first daily noontime variety show. The management feels that the Network is ready to field Wowowillie in the noontime slot in our mission to provide more options to our daytime viewers,†said Perci Intalan, TV5’s First Vice President for Creative and Entertainment Production.
Two weeks prior to its pilot episode, excitement is already running high for millions of Filipinos who long for Kuya Wil’s return to daytime. Kuya Wil dominated Pinoy noontime TV for years until he transferred to TV5 where he changed the shape of primetime with Wil Time Bigtime.
The upcoming daily noontime show will introduce new segment formats that will bring fun and excitement to daytime in its new home, the Wowowillie Theater along Quezon Avenue. Once built, the studio is expected to house 1,100 guests coming from different parts of the Philippines with its location that is better accessible to public transportation.
World-class dance party
The Sinulog 2013 weekend was not without the usual revelries left and right, and dubbed the biggest outdoor dance revelry of them all was “LifeDance Sinulog 2013 in 3D†held last January 18 at The Boardwalk Complex, North Reclamation Area in Mandaue City.
Organized by Legwork/Paradiso Productions, it was a sequel to last year’s event, but presented on a larger scale this 2013 because of LifeDance’s partnership with Asia Brewery Incorporated. For a world-class party and musical experience, LifeDance flew in some of the world’s top spinners and producers namely, producer/DJ Joachim Garraud, the world-renowned ANT21 and Max Vangeli, along with Brilliant and Felix Zaltaio.
