CEBU, Philippines - Out of the hundreds of aspiring students wanting to be hailed as the most beautiful and the handsomest faces in campus in Olive-C's Mr. and Ms. Campus Model search, 13 women and 12 men made it to the finals night, held last November 9 at J Centre Mall's Convention Center.

Of these, Maria Cassandra Yu from the University of San Carlos and Nathaniel Tiu of CIT-University emerged victorious and were crowned as the most beautiful faces from Cebu's schools.

Yu and Tiu’s victory made them the official representatives in the upcoming national competition on January 2013 in Baguio City.

Their confidence, charisma, and intelligence during the pageant night made them stand out over the other candidates.

Both Yu and Tiu won cash and products from Olive C, gift certificates from the sponsors, plaque, an overnight stay at Hotel Stella, beauty treatment from It Figures, and bouquets of flowers.

Meanwhile, The FREEMAN and BANAT News' Readers' Choice awardees, Lyrey Yves Campos of Velez College and Marie Shane Ortega of Advance Institute of Technology, came in as second runners-up, while the first runners-up are Junichi Yabushita and Brigitte Burato.

As Readers' Choice awardees, Campos and Ortega each received an elegant glass trophy, cash prize, and a year's subscription to all five titles of The Philippine STAR Group: The Philippine Star, The FREEMAN, BANAT News, Pilipino Star Ngayon, and Pang-Masa. (FREEMAN)
