CEBU, Philippines - GMA Network’s Afternoon Prime block continues its nationwide TV ratings supremacy after its latest drama, Faithfully, dominated its timeslot with high numbers during its pilot week, according to data from the industry’s widely trusted ratings service provider Nielsen TV Audience Measurement.
The afternoon drama consistently remains ahead of competition not only in viewer rich Urban Luzon and Mega Manila but also across National Urban Philippines.
Based on overnight household data in National Urban Philippines covering the period July 18 to July 22, 2012, Faithfully registered 41.2 share points versus ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4’s 33.7 share points and TV5’s Sharon’s 6.9 share points. For the same period in Total Urban Luzon, which makes up 77 percent of total television households nationwide, it scored 44.7 points compared to ABS-CBN’s 23 points and TV5’s 6.5 points while in viewer-rich Mega Manila, which comprises 58 percent of total television households nationwide, it edged out competition with 44.6 share points against ABS-CBN’s 22 points and TV5’s 7.2 points.
Bannered by the talented roster of Kapuso actors and actresses — Maxene Magalona, Isabel Oli, Vaness del Moral, and Michelle Madrigal, introducing Isabelle Daza with Marc Abaya and Mike Tan, the intriguing storyline and interesting mix of characters engage viewers with each subsequent episode.
