Barbra Streisand to return to the director's chair

CEBU, Philippines - Barbra Streisand will go behind the camera for the first time in 16 years to direct “Skinny and Cat,” a love story starring Colin Firth and Cate Blanchett. Streisand’s last turn as director was in 1996 for “The Mirror Has Two Faces.” Showbiz 411 reports that Babs is waiting to secure the $20 million in financing before shooting the flick.
