Game on! Cosplay competition

CEBU, Philippines - The cosplay mania invades J Centre Mall on February 25, 2012 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the Atrium. Seasoned and newbie cosplayers from Cebu will converge at J Centre Mall for the first Game ON ! XtremeCosplay. Cosplayers dressed as game characters will compete to win the titles of best male, female and group cosplayer.

Exciting prizes such as a wig of the winner’s choice from Kospurei Sugar Shop, gift certificates from Pipo’s Gelato and cellphone units from RC Goldline and LG will be given away. Interested participants may purchase a game card worth Php 100 from Xcite Republic , J Centre Mall’s amusement center.

The cosplay competition is divided into two categories, individual and group category where participants could cosplay any character that they want whether it’s from an anime, manga, games, comics, movies or Western animation. For the group category, they must be composed of three to five members.

Interested participants for the group category can pre-register by sending an email to [email protected]. Onsite registration will be on February 25, 2012 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Atrium. For participants aged 12 – 17 years old, a letter of consent from parents must be presented during registration. Call the J Centre at 239 5420 loc. 112 for inquiries.
