All Set for Local Production of Les Misérables in Cebu

CEBU, Philippines - All is set for the staging of 'Victor Hugo's Les Misérables' by the Cre8tive Thespians Club, Inc. (CTC).

Based on Victor Hugo's epic novel, it has become one of the greatest musicals of all time. A legendary tale of adventure, obsession, redemption, romance and freedom, it will be staged at the CENEWOF Theater, Marcelo Fernan Press Center, Lahug, Cebu City on January 27 to 29, 2012. Matinee shows at 10am and 2:30pm, while Gala shows at 7pm. All are reserved seats.

'Les Misérables,' which originally opened in London in 1985, has been seen by nearly 60 million people worldwide in 42 countries and in 21 languages. In 2006, it became the world’s longest-running musical, surpassing the record previously held by 'Cats.' The score includes the classic songs “I Dreamed a Dream,” “On My Own,” “Stars,” “Bring Him Home,” “Do You Hear the People Sing?,” “One Day More,” “Empty Chairs at Empty Tables,” “Master Of The House” and many more.
