'Toda Max' Now the Country's Most Watched Sitcom

CEBU, Philippines - Proving that the concepts of the Kapamilya Comedy remain undisputed, its flagship sitcom “TODA Max” is now the No. 1 sitcom based on the data from Kantar Media.

“TODA Max” garnered 23% average monthly TV rating in November, the highest among all comedy programs.

Now that Angel has joined the sitcom topbilled by Robin Padilla, Vhong Navarro and Pokwang, more viewers are expected to be hooked in this family-oriented sitcom.

Angel said she’s now ready to show the funny or “kengkay” side of her. She revealed that besides studying her assigned role as Isabel Padausdos, she also brought out the comedienne in her.

“My role is Justin Bibbo’s (Vhong Navarro) girlfriend. I made sure that what Justin thinks of his leading lady is the same with how I look at my role, so we can have good chemistry,” Angel said.

“TODA Max” was Angel’s first-ever sitcom on the Kapamilya network. It can be recalled that at first she was just a guest celebrity in the sitcom, but the network’s management noticed her innate hilarity. No wonder she’s now a part of the No.1 comedy program in the country.
