Ces' military father killed on duty

-

CEBU, Philippines - What can only be a military family’s worst nightmare happened to seasoned broadcast journalist Ces Oreña-Drilon when her father, soldier Bernabe Oreña, was killed in a helicopter crash while on an operational mission. His body was never found.

Join Ces as she advances the welfare and well-being of families left behind by fallen soldiers tonight in “Krusada.”

Catch the stories of young children who have been orphaned after their fathers were slain in separate combats against rebel groups.

“They are not just ordinary dads. They sacrificed their lives for the country,” said Ces.

In her report, find out how the government assists the families to help them get their life back on track.

Because it takes more than words to make a stand, listen, take part, and be one with Ces’ crusade tonight in “Krusada” after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN, or watch it earlier on DZMM TeleRadyo (SkyCable ch. 26), 9:15 PM.
