Natalie Portman shows off her baby Aleph

-

CEBU, Philippines - She takes him out quite often, but it's a rare thing for Natalie Portman to show her newborn's face.

The world caught a rare glimpse of three-month-old Aleph Portman-Millepied today, when the Oscar winner took her son out for a stroll around Los Angeles with a female friend.

The 30-year-old Black Swan star still manages to look effortlessly beautiful even when she's dressed down.

The Israeli-born actress wore cut-off jeans, a plaid shirt and simple trainers as she walked her little man around LA.

She hid her makeup-free face underneath a pair of sunglasses. Her brunette curls had dried as if she had just stepped out of the shower.

Her adorable son, clad in a bright green onesie, held tight to his mother but looked around curiously as well.

She did attempt to hide her son from prying eyes by covering him with a blanket, but it didn't stay on for long.

Aleph, ballet dancer father Benjamin Millepied and Portman recently took their first family vacation together.

The gorgeous trio spent some time in Europe; they were spotted in both Geneva, Switzerland and Paris, France.

After the excitement of winning an Oscar and giving birth, it's only natural that the star wouldn't immediately wish to return to work.

She was expected to star in the indie film Adaline as her first post-baby job, but turned the role down.

Katherine Heigl, also a mother to two-year-old adopted daughter Naleigh, has been offered the part instead. (FREEMAN)
