Rufa Mae Quinto has no love life + Robi Domingo to bring fresh ideas to PBB Unlimited
Former PBB teen housemate Robi Domingo is excited to be one of the hosts of Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited. At the presscon of the popular reality show from the Kapamilya network held Tuesday night, Robi says it’s a big challenge for him to be chosen to be one of the new hosts of PPB Unlimited together with Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzales, plus another newbie Martin Concio.
"This is a very different kind of ballgame. Before, I used to do hosting job on MYX but doing PBB with Toni and Bianca, plus Martin is really something different," said the Pre-Med student from Ateneo de Manila University who added that if he had not been offered to be a host of PBB, he would certainly go through an audition if needed just to be a part of it.
"This is a different level when it comes to hosting. I have to show what I can do and be the best that I can. I have to be at par with my co-host," said Robi. When asked what he will bring to PBB as a host, Robi answered, "I guess I would be bringing fresh and new ideas to PBB because I am active on the social networking site. I can use that for the show. And being a housemate before, I can share more experiences."
Unlike Bianca who joined the Celebrity edition so more or less she has an idea how the program goes, Robi says he came in fresh and raw, "I can say that I came from nowhere, from an ordinary life. I was not aware of the cameras or at least how to relate with the camera, so we really didn’t know what to do then." With him around, Robi believes he can give the show a different perspective because he knows the market.
Doing Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited won’t affect his studies at Ateneo. His class schedule is every morning from Monday to Friday and he will have Saturday and Sunday free. He’s taking up a pre-Med course and is contemplating on fulfilling his dream of becoming a doctor depending on what happens with his stint as a PBB host.
"I hope to finish my course and graduate in March but I am not yet sure if I will push through in taking further studies. I want to know how taking a job as a PBB host would change my fate. Being a host of PBB is my biggest break. A lot of possibilities could happen with this. This might lead me to getting into other programs. This is really something big. But should I decide to quit showbiz in favor of my studies, at least, I ended my career with a bang," said the soft-spoken 22-year-old.
Brace yourself for the much-anticipated comeback of the country’s one and only realiserye "Pinoy Big Brother" (PBB) as its fourth and latest season "Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited" brings a fresh set of surprises and twists that is sure to entertain and engage viewers.
The newly furnished PBB house and the new set of housemates will finally be revealed in "PBB Unlimited: The Big Fiesta" this Saturday (October 29) by hosts Toni Gonzaga and Bianca Gonzalez, with newbies Robi Domingo and Martin Concio.
