CEBU, Philippines - Staying true to its slogan “Todo bigay sa inyong pag-asenso,” GMA-Network’s HANEP BUHAY, which airs every Saturday, 7 am, continues to award “Hanep makeovers” to many deserving entre-Pinoys.
Led by hosts Chris Tiu and Love Añover, the program has helped eateries, sari-sari stores, a salon, an auto shop and more with free business advice, equipment and supplies, and physical transformations to help boost businesses.
Saylo Salon was one of the first businesses to experience this hanep transformation. From a lowly parlor with few customers, the salon had a facelift thanks to HANEP BUHAY and soon experienced an 80% increase in revenue. Now, it has 2 branches. Entre-Pinoy Mang Oca Espinosa has a similar story. Mang Oca owns a humble bakery in Binangonan Rizal. With HANEP BUHAY’s help, his business wasn’t only showered with brand new ovens and new baking supplies; he was also given a free baking seminar by the best chefs of Center for Asian Culinary Studies.
This Saturday, a hardworking locksmith is awarded a well deserved business makeover. Mang Manny Rivero’s tiny stall is considered a little institution in the sprawling campus of the University of the Philippines. Still in the business after 30 long years, Mang Manny has duplicated hundreds of keys, repaired dozens of locks and umbrellas in the past years. His hard work helped pay for the education of his seven children. So Love and the HANEP team overhaul his small kiosk to give him a brand new work space. Not only that, Mang Manny will also be given blank keys and additional tools to enhance his business.
Afterwards, the “Negosyonaryo” segment discusses MSME, which stands for “Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.” And finally, “Diskarteng Hanep” talks about setting up a candy business with only one thousand pesos.
All these and more in HANEP BUHAY, hosted by Chris Tiu and Love Añover. HANEP BUHAY airs every Saturday, 7 am, on GMA Network.
