P-Noy and Liz Uy dating rumors confirmed

CEBU, Philippines - It looks like President Noynoy Aquino has definitely moved on.

No less than the eldest sister of President Aquino confirmed that the country's newly-single bachelor head of state is going out on dates with his stylist Liz Uy.

Ballsy Aquino-Cruz told yesterday's "24 Oras" that the status of P-Noy's relationship with Uy is "non-exclusive dating" amid rumors swirling that the two are already engaged to marry.  

Liz herself has dubbed the wedding reports as "funny," Pep.ph reported. In her Twitter account, Liz also tweeted, "Not everything you read is true," apparently referring to the rumors.

Liz, who first shot to fame for being the stylist to the stars, was introduced to the President through the latter's youngest sister, Kris. In previous interviews, the usually chatty TV host-actress avoided commenting on the latest goings-on in the lovelife of her elder brother.

Nevertheless, she has expressed her approval should a relationship develop between her brother and Liz, whom she considers as "one of her bestfriends". "Liz is very much single and so is my brother. If they're getting to know each other at this point, karapatan nila 'yan," she told Pep.ph.

The President was formerly in a relationship with Valenzuela City councilor Shalani Soledad. Then touted in the media as the "First Girlfriend" and potential "First Lady", the lovely Shalani became a prominent figure and source of fascination among Filipinos in the course of the successful presidential campaign of P-Noy in the last national elections.

Following reports of their breakup sometime in September after over a year of being together, the President has also been romantically linked to a certain Barbie Palagos and television news reporter Patricia Ann Roque.

Apart from being hounded by questions on his lovelife, the President is perennially asked by the media whether the country will see a Malacanang wedding in six years (during his term). Aquino's constant reply: "Hope springs eternal." (THE FREEMAN)
