CEBU, Philippines - Former Eraserheads frontman Ely Buendia is slated to perform before Cebuano fans in SM City Cebu this Sunday, Nov. 7.
Buendia will be joined centerstage by Dope Militia, who will sing songs from his latest album "In Love and War" plus greatest hits of E-Heads, for which Buendia gained success and critical acclaim as a songwriter.
Now he has released an album that not only showcases his songwriting prowess but also celebrates his friendship and collaboration with the late "master rapper" Francis Magalona. Through the album, Francis M.'s legacy as one of the greatest Filipino music luminaries lives on.
Songs in the album include "Buzzkill", "Hands On", "Bum Ticker", "Wasak Waltz", and the old song he composed for Francis' Happy Battle album, "Unstrung Heroes". The album is also the Master Rapper's last recording-truly a labor of love from two well-respected Pinoy musicians who never quit their battles.
