Charice is no. 4 on billboard's '21 under 21' elite list The Filipina singing sensation is in good company, joining Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus

CEBU, Philippines - Billboard has released its "21 Under 21: Music's Hottest Minors" list, whose tunes the US magazine predicts will be filling the Top 40 during the coming year. And making the elite list is Filipina singer Charice, whose artist profile has gotten an impressive boost after guest-starring in the season 2 opener of one of the most talked about shows on television.

The "Glee" newcomer is in good company, with the likes of musical sensations Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber also named to the list.

It is the 20-year-old multi-awarded country/pop singer Swift that topped the list. Bieber, on the other hand, is hot on her heels by coming in second; while the third spot was nabbed by Selena Gomez of the popular tween show, "Wizard of Waverly Place" that is aired over at the Disney Channel. Charice, whose international career is running full speed, lands the fourth spot. Soulja Boy rounds up the Top 5. For the complete list, visit Billboard.com.

Indeed, there's no stopping Charice's hot streak. Fresh from her debut appearance on "Glee" as a Filipina exchange student named Sunshine Corazon, the Billboard recognition further affirms that she's headed for the big time.

Charice got her start in the US music industry after being discovered on Youtube. The 18-year-old was featured on "Ellen" and "Oprah". She also has a successful self-titled album which came out last May. Last week, Charice made her debut on the Fox musical-comedy series as over 12 million viewers tuned in.
