Camille Prats TO SAY "I DO" AGAIN

- Ricky L. Calderon -

Sheena Patricia Camille Prats, or more popularly known in showbiz as simply Camille Prats, will have her church wedding to businessman Anthony Linsangan today at the Sanctuario de San Antonio, McKinley Road, Forbes Park, Makati City.

Among the principal sponsors in the wedding are Senator Juan Miguel F. Zubiri, Ms. Wilma Galvante, Ms. Annette Gozon-Abrogar, Mr. Arnold Vegafria, Dr. Manny V. Calayan, Mr. Ariel A. Muhlach, Ms. Socorro Vidanes, Mr. Edgar Mortiz, and Ms. Alexandra de Leon.

Angelica Panganiban, one of Camille’s closest friends since they started out as child stars in showbiz, is part of the wedding entourage, same with Marvin Agustin and Marco Alcaraz, who are groomsmen.

Ring bearer is Nathaniel Caesar Prats Linsangan, the firstborn of Camille and Anthony. The reception will be held at the posh Rizal Ballroom of Shangri-La Makati.

Camille and Anthony had their civil wedding two years ago. They first tied the knot last January 5, 2008 in the US, which was witnessed by immediate family members.

Aside from the bride and groom, sure to attract attention in the wedding would be Angelica—that is if she comes. For sure, she would be besieged by showbiz reporters (if they are invited to the affair) who would be eager to know the real score on her reported breakup with boyfriend Derek Ramsay.

Model-turned-actor Lemuelle Pelayo is happy with the acting break given to him by indie film director Adolf Alix, Jr. who cast him in the indie movie “Romeo at Juliet,” which is topbilled by Alessandra de Rossi and Victor Basa.

This is the first movie ever of Lemuelle who has appeared in GMA 7 TV dramas “All My Life” and “Stairway To Heaven.” The movie is produced by former TV star Jean Altavas, who appeared in such shows as “Super Laff In.”

The newbie is a reluctant actor although he started out as a commercial model. He’s aware of the fact that being a commercial model is a good stepping stone towards showbiz. After trying out in various TV shows and seeing that his fellow models like Victor Basa and Zanjoe Marudo are also doing well as actors, he decided to make a go of his acting career.

He didn’t encounter much difficulty doing his first acting role in “Romeo at Juliet” because of the guidance given to him by Direk Adolf, not to mention the support given to him by Alessandra. In fact, Lemuelle related, it was Alessandra who picked him when he went to the go-see for prospective models for the Bench underwear fashion show last year.

“Alessandra is very supportive of me, after she learned that this is my acting debut in a movie,” said Lemuelle. “Even in our love scene, Alex was very supportive. We were laughing before the scene was shot pero nung actual take na seryoso na kami. Hindi naman talaga gumagawa ng love scene si Alex. Pumayag lang siya dahil maganda ang project at dahil nakumbinsi siya ni Direk Adolf.”
