Krista returns to the country, avoids the press

CEBU, Philippines - Controversial starlet Krista Ranillo has reportedly returned to the country yesterday morning, but has successfully evaded the press awaiting her arrival from the US. Entertainment website Pep.ph reported that an airport official escorted her out of the airport building and away from media. Ranillo's arrival has long been anticipated ever since she got linked to boxing champ Manny Pacquiao. Apart from sightings of the two together in Baguio and Hongkong, it was also reported that Manny shouldered her flight expenses to the US so she could watch his fight against Miguel Cotto last month.

Ranillo's camp has already debunked such rumors, as well as Manny Pacquiao himself, who said that they're merely "close friends". The two are expected to resume their shooting today for their movie "Wapakman," an entry to this December's Metro Manila Film Fest.
