TJ Trinidad, Glaiza De Castro grace "Stairway to Heaven" mall show; Lead stars Dingdong Dantes, Rhian Ramos "No Show" due to typhoon Ondoy

CEBU, Philippines - “Stairway to Heaven” cast members TJ Trinidad and Glaiza De Castro took charge of the teleserye’s Cebu mall show at SM City Cebu’s Entertainment Plaza in the absence of the lead stars. 

Approximate number of people who went to the Entertainment Plaza was placed by mall security at 5,000.

Lead female star Rhian Ramos failed to make it to Cebu as the mall show coincided with the onslaught of typhoon Ondoy in Manila. Rhian was stranded at the Manila airport for three hours, waiting for clearance for her plane to take off for Cebu, but apparently, all flights were cancelled already. Leading man Dingdong Dantes, on the other hand, got stranded along the way to the airport.

Nevertheless, Glaiza De Castro and TJ Trinidad were warmly received at the GMA Telebabad Mall Show featuring Stairway to Heaven.

A phone patch was also made at the mall show, wherein Rhian talked to the audience and to GMA Kapuso Cebu personalities Anna Maris Igpit and Yurri who hosted the event.

In “Stairway to Heaven,” the characters of TJ and Glaiza will come in between the star-crossed lovers Cholo (Dingdong) and Jodi (Rhian).
