CEBU, Philippines - Kamikazee performs in a free concert sponsored by SuperFerry at Danao Fish Port Area, Cebu on Saturday, July 25, at 7PM.
Tuesday Vargas hosts the variety show called the Biyaheng Bayan Caravan Concert, which will also raffle off roundtrip tickets to Manila.
Kamikazee is composed of Jay Contreras (Lead Vocalist), Jomal Linao (Guitars/Back-up Vocals), Led Zeppelin Tuyay (Guitars), Jason "Puto" Astete (Bass Guitar) and Allan "Bords" Burdeos (drums). They met in college at the College of Fine Arts of the University of the Philippines Diliman.
Kamikazee released their first self titled album in 2002. In 2006, they released their second album, Maharot, with the carrier hit single 'Narda.' Recently, Universal Records released Kamikazee’s third album Long Time Noisy featuring the launching single Wala. Long Time Noisy is the band’s follow-up of its double platinum breakthrough album Maharot. Other notable cuts from the album are Ikaw, Hanggang Tingin, Eschoos Me, Hot Mami and Meron Akong Ano.
This free SuperFerry concert is the second of three free concerts scheduled this year. Kamikazee performed in Bacolod last July 4 and is also set to perform in Cagayan de Oro on September 12.
