Lyn Reyes to launch debut album in Cebu

FOLLOWING the very successful pilot testing of her two original songs included in her self-titled album Lyn Reyes: How Will I Know over leading FM stations in Luzon and the National Capital Region—where her carrier single titled How Will I Know stayed as number 1 song for a few months and got her two of the most coveted nominations in the 3rd iFM Pinoy Music Awards—Lyn Reyes readies for the most memorable occasion of her life, the grand launching of her album come January 11, 2008, at the Robinson’s Place Cebu Activity Center.

How Will I Know is among the top contenders for the Top Song of the Year category, while Lyn is among the nominees in the Best Female Vocal Performer award. Lyn is sharing the same distinction with PDA grand winner Yeng Constantino, mega daughter KC Concepcion, phenomenal Aiza Seguerra, and many others. The awarding ceremony is slated on February 2009.

Her Tagalog song Tayo Ba, on the other hand, has likewise easily become a hit among FM listeners and song requesters due to its simple but meaningful true-to-life messages, and in fact, it consistently plays along the top 3 spots for months now.

Aside from How Will I Know and Tayo Ba, the album also features This Is My Dream, Never Make Me Cry, and Saan Ka Man Mapunta, which are all original compositions. The album—a mixture of love songs and upbeats and produced by Creworks Asia—talks about life stories of people, especially the youth who are facing the day-to-day struggles.  

In line with the upcoming grand launching, a singing competition called How Will I Know: Birit Ala-Lyn Reyes Star Search will be conducted in the first week of January whose grand final will be one of the highlights in the album launching. Lyn Reyes’ Cebu album launching—which is also brought to us by Psalmstre Enterprises—is going to be a day full-packed with exciting activities such as presscon, mall tour, autograph signing, photo opportunities for fans, and much more. To add more excitement in the event is another Creworks Asia talent, the international print and ramp model and Fashion Xchange endorser Leilanie Francois.

Creworks Asia big bosses and album executive producers Jim and Victor Acosta will also be present during the occasion.
