A bossa evening with Sitti at The Terraces tonight

-

Sitti Navarro, popularly known as Sitti in the country’s bossa nova scene, is set to captivate The Terraces Ayala Center Cebu patrons as she performs tonight, November 14, beginning 7pm.

Chill out to the soothing voice that sprung Sitti’s debut album “Café Bossa” to certified double platinum status. Her songs, ranging from traditional bossa nova songs to dance-electronica, have separated her performing caliber from the rest, and she continues to earn praise from her many appearances guest hosting episodes of “Pinoy Big Brother” and “Pinoy Dream Academy.”

The Terraces, and its select excellent dining establishments, are the perfect venue to enjoy her trademark mellow voice, the same one that made “Tattooed on my mind” reverberate in listeners’ minds after hearing it.

With the sounds of the nylon-string classical guitar and piano common to the Brazilian strains of bossa nova music, get to know Sitti, as she celebrates music itself in The Terraces’ very special Bossa Evening.

A graduate of the University of the Philippines’ business economics department, Sitti is more than just a wonderful singer. She was also a dean’s lister, an editor-in-chief of the school paper, and a beauty pageant winner.

She started her musical career, though, when she was 16 while performing at gigs. But it was after MTV Philippines recognized her talent by naming her one of the winners in “MTV Supahstar: D’ Super Search” in 2004 that she landed her recording contract with Warner Music Philippines.

Tonight, she visits The Terraces. Listen, enjoy, dine and laugh the night away in the one and only Bossa Evening with Sitti.
