Wedding buzz: Juday & Ryan, Vic & Pia
It was wise of Ryan Agoncillo to steer clear of the spat between his fiancée Judy Ann Santos and her talent manager Alfie Lorenzo. His career has been enjoying a resurgence, and to be embroiled in a controversy is the last thing Ryan needs. “I have the highest respect for Juday and Tito Alfie,” he is quoted as saying. “It’s best that I keep my distance” (from their argument.)
Besides, Juday and Alfie seem to have made up, so all’s well that ends well. Now the sweethearts could focus on their wedding plans, although the couple doesn’t want to reveal too much.
Ryan is also all excited about his forthcoming role in the new Carlo Caparas teleseries, Pieta.

Comedian Eugene Domingo has been bumped off from Regal Films’ Shake, Rattle & Roll X because negotiations between her manager Ricky Gallardo and Regal’s Lily Monteverde failed. The talks were said to be heated, and centered on Eugene ’s talent fee.
Shake, Rattle & Roll isn’t the only Regal project Eugene would be losing. She was reportedly taken out of Desperadas 2, where she was to play the long-lost sister of original Desperadas Iza Calzado, Ruffa Gutierrez, Rufa Mae Quinto and Marian Rivera, and Ang Nanay Kong Aswang.

Tonyboy Cojuangco has denied persistent rumors that he and actress Gretchen Barretto have broken up.
“Everything is fine. She’s going to have a show on ABC 5, we’re happy about it,” the owner of ABC 5 network told reporters last week.
Tonyboy and Gretchen have long been reported to be going through a stormy episode, with their relationship floundering. La Greta is said to have been driven out of the house by Tonyboy after he discovered that she was seeing business executive Dody Puno. Gretchen has indeed been seen with Puno, but she vehemently denies there is something going on between them.
Last week, Tonyboy sought to set things straight once and for all and opened up to the media, something he rarely does. He said his relationship with Gretchen was “ever growing” and “always evolving.” The important thing, he added, was that their daughter Dominique, “grows up a happy, well-balanced individual.”

The buzz is going around that Vic Sotto and Pia Guanio, long rumored to be lovers, were married last June in Las Vegas, where Eat Bulaga had a show. The wedding was supposed to be a very private affair, and only the closest friends of the two were in on it.
If it’s a quickie wedding one wants, Las Vegas is the place to go. So I wouldn’t be surprised if Vic and Pia did tie the knot there.
