Undoubtedly one of the most sought-after young stars of today, Kim Chiu has certainly come a long way from the then unknown Cebuana vying her luck as one of the aspiring housemates in the popular ABS-CBN reality-based program, Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition 1.
Besting her other equally young colleagues, Kim went on to win the series and was crowned as PBB’s “Teen Big Winner” in 2006. Kim’s childlike charm, complemented by her cute chinita features, served as her ticket into the colorful world of show business. Two years after her PBB victory, Kim has appeared in a number of television shows, which includes the top-rating primetime soap, Sana Maulit Muli, in 2007. The 18-year-old charmer also top-billed Star Cinema’s successful teen flick I’ve Fallen For You alongside screen partner Gerald Anderson. Kim was last seen in the local adaptation of the popular Korean series, My Girl, where she played the spunky character of Jasmine Estocapio.
But aside from TV and movie appearances, Kim also juggles her time between photo shoots, rehearsals, recording and other showbiz to non-showbiz commitments. Given her very young age, Kim admits that her erratic work schedules often take its toll.
“Madalas siyempre kulang sa tulog,” she smiles, “kasi minsan sa isang araw hindi lang isa ‘yong gagawin mo like after ng taping takbo ka naman sa isang photo shoot then after, minsan, may rehearsal pa.”
Being super busy, of course, is all part of being a celebrity. But the business also entails one to look good at all times and insufficient rest plus being exposed to a lot of outside elements like make-up, processed food combined with dirt brought by constant travelling are definitely nagging concerns.
“Sa case ko usually pimples ang effect ‘pag sobrang stressed and ‘di ba usually halata talaga sa skin ‘pag kulang sa pahinga,” Kim awkwardly shares. Compounding Kim’s worry is the fact that she’s currently in a stage where skin problems (particularly pimples and acne) usually manifest itself.
That’s why Kim was totally relieved when she discovered Bioclear food supplement. She found out that it is composed of four all-natural herbal ingredients so much so that it doesn’t only promote healthy skin. Conventionally speaking, the herbal extracts found in Bioclear are known in traditional medicine for their detoxifying, antipyretic, blood cleansing and regulating, anti-allergic, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal, skin nourishing and natural healing properties to deal with different skin conditions. But also, since the ingredients are all natural, Bioclear helps clean and nourish an individual’s internal system as well.
Despite her young age, Kim is fully aware that it is definitely much better to take supplements made from natural ingredients instead of ingesting products made from artificial components.
In nod to her Chinese lineage, the bubbly teen star was utterly flattered when Herbpharm, Inc., asked her to serve as Bioclear’s first celebrity endorser. The decision to tap Kim was brought by the fact that she best epitomizes the “oriental beauty”—apt since the reliable practice of using herbal ingredients has long been practiced throughout Asia. It also helps that Kim exemplifies the modern youth of today: hip, dynamic and active.
But Bioclear is not just meant for teenagers of those belonging to the younger market, as what Kim gleefully enthuses, “Puwede siya kahit for adults.”
With Bioclear ensuring and keeping her skin problems at bay, Kim absolutely feels more confident knowing that she can resume her hectic routine and still look radiant—with her skin totally clear and healthy. For more information, log on to www.herbpharminc.com.
