New Comedy Warns “You Don’t Mess With The Zohan”
Lather. Rinse. Save the world.
As The Zohan, comic superstar Adam Sandler gives up counter-terrorism to pursue his goal of making the world "silky smooth," in Columbia Pictures' new comedy, "You Don't Mess with the Zohan."
Directed by Dennis Dugan ("Big Daddy," "Happy Gilmore") and written by Judd Apatow ("The 40-Year-Old Virgin," "Knocked Up," "Superbad") and "Saturday Night Live" writer Robert Smigel, the film stars Sandler as an elite Israeli Mossad agent who fakes his own death so he can leave Israel and anonymously move to New York to pursue his dream of being a hair stylist.
But complications ensue as his Palestinian rival soon follows him to the Big Apple.
"Zohan" also stars longtime Sandler collaborators Rob Schneider ("Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo," "The Animal") and John Turturro ("Transformers," "Anger Management," "Mr. Deeds") and exciting actress Emanuelle Chriqui (TV's "Entourage" and "The O.C.") and Nick Swardson.
