Summer kicks off this April with heat-defying events as Ayala Center Cebu launches Summer Solstice, a summer campaign bringing in art exhibits, fashion shows and concerts - truly world-class entertainment.
Last April 11, shoppers experienced a one-of-a-kind festivity with Pinikpikan, a celebration of diversity in musical styles using indigenous musical instruments. Launched simultaneously was the eco-friendly furniture exhibit by Naturescast, which featured the hand-crafted club chair used in the 50th Grammy Awards Gift Lounge and other eco-friendly product lines.
Another world-class Bravo Filipino exhibit featuring the brilliant artistry, creativity and ingenuity of Filipinos in the fields of music, dance, fashion and visual arts, is scheduled on April 21-27, at the Paseo Marina of the mall.
The Bravo Filipino Exhibit culmination will also feature another world-class performer, music maestro Ryan Cayabyab on April 25, 6:00 o’clock in the evening at the South Surface Parking. Mr. Cayabyab will grace Ayala Center Cebu in an evening concert featuring his most memorable songs and musical pieces.
On April 23, US Embassy sponsors a soul, hip-hop and funk jazz show featuring the international New York-based singer/songwriter Maya Azucena.
Maya Azucena is known for her classic soul voice and has built her reputation largely through her live performances and music collaborations with other soul, dance, hip-hop and reggae artists. Catch Maya Azucena on April 23, 6 in the evening at Paseo Verde, Ayala Center Cebu.
Shoppers will enjoy and may look forward to other events and concerts this April: Ipanema Brazilian Fashion Show on April 19-20, ABS-CBN’s MagTV tomorrow, April 18, with actress Judy Ann Santos and the other ABS-CBN stars at the South Surface Parking at 1 o’clock in the afternoon; and closing the month-full of events this April will be award-winning singer Jed Madela on April 30, South Surface Parking, at 7 in the evening.
