Yilmaz Bektas arrives in the country, sparks talk of reunion with wife Ruffa

Yilmaz Bektas arrived in the country yesterday, with news of his unannounced arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport fast reaching the media through text messages.

The Turkish businessman, who after making repeated and changeable pronouncements in the past of both coming and then no longer setting foot in the country after a very public spat with celebrity wife, “The Buzz” host Ruffa Gutierrez, was on board a United Arab Emirates flight that landed 5pm at the NAIA.

He is in the country to visit Ruffa and two children, Lorin and Venice. Yilmaz, whose presence at the airport immediately created a frenzy, was seen personally fetched by Ruffa’s car.

Will his coming finally spell a reunion between him and Ruffa? That we’ll have to wait and see. – Salve V. Asis
