After dominating Saturday late-night television via GMA Network's Showbiz Stripped, reputable showbiz expert and Philippine STAR entertainment editor Ricky Lo is again stripping showbiz to its most naked truth, lies, and consequences.

But this time around, he is doing all the stripping on primetime television. Thanks to QTV-27's newest showbiz magazine talk show, THE RICKY LO EXCLUSIVES, primetime programming is indeed going bold and naked.

Ricky, inspired by the saying that "behind every lie is the truth that justifies the consequence of every decision," not only offers the latest and hottest intrigues and the juiciest gossip in local show business, but will definitely have showbiz undressed - no gimmicks, glitter or glamour.

THE RICKY LO EXCLUSIVES is a snappier, braver, deeper, and naughtier showbiz program that exposes the colorful lives of people in showbiz. It magnifies the drama and joy of celebrity struggles and captures every moment of eventful revelations.

Here, Ricky discusses topics and issues that excite and capture the interests of showbiz-watchers, apart from the blind items that surely trigger the viewers' imagination and curiosity. The program also features hard-hitting exclusive stories, including show business' more serious and sad faces - court battles, showbiz violence, etc…

It also digs deeper into the heart and soul of showbiz couples and features independent stories based on romantic liaisons, love triangles, reconciliations, family reunions, and showbiz couples' separation, which the entertainment world seems to never run out of.

And for the program's main man, Ricky Lo, who has unquestionably mastered the skill of capturing the most surprising scoops and stories in showbiz, respect is always an integral part of his interviews.

"It is not a sensational type of show na nag-aaway ang mga guests, although we give them a chance to air their side. But not in a way na magsasabunutan o magsusuntukan. It's confrontational in a way that's not violent," he describes.

"[The show is] different in a sense that [it is] sober in discussion. We give the stars enough time to say their piece. It's showbiz and yet we show more of their human side. We show how they get emotional about certain issues," he adds.

He also believes that famous people are considered role models in the society whether they like it or not. "[May mga artistang] masyadong nilalantad 'yung personal life. OK lang naman 'wag lang beyond the limits. Stars should be aware of the fact that they are role models," he points out.

He also believes that celebrities should set an example as persons with good attitude and courtesy for others. They should also be responsible for the kind of image that they show their fans.

"Maraming batang artista, nagkaroon lang ng kaunting success disrespectful na. 'Pag ganoon ang attitude, hanggang doon na lang! If you show disrespect to your parents you end there. Hangang doon ka na lang!" he remarks.

As a well-respected journalist, he also tries to set a good example to other journalists in the country. Aside from giving importance to good moral values, he also observes professionalism in his work and does not take sides.

"You should know how to draw the line between friendship and profession," he adds.

Indeed, the sight of celebrities comfortably sharing their secrets to journalists who can possibly change, make, or break their reputation is extremely rare. And to say the least, celebrities are quite fortunate to have someone like Ricky Lo whom they could really trust.
