Assembly Language comes up with 'Ambot' EP

Assembly Language had already launched their Extended Play album in "simple rites" done during the Intramurals of the Cebu Institute of Technology where band members are all students of the Engineering Department.

This is the piece of good news shared to me by Nahshon Maquiling (vocalist, guitarist), Simplicio "Emping" Kiskisan, Jr. (guitarist, back-up vocalist), Zen Go (drummer) and John Alfred "JanJan" Bajana (bassist) whom I later met but wasn't around during the interview, and a new member named Mark, actually a sessionist, of which I still have to meet.

Early this year, the group recounted of their ordeal as a struggling Bisdak band in their yearning to complete the materials for their "Ambot" EP album with five tracks performed in the pop-rock style.

"Tabang" which is supposedly carrier of the album is now overpowered by the airplay requests gained by "Chinita". Evident in Tabang is the clean blend of voices that deals on imploring the Divine Providence of all forms of help to be able to overcome challenges, most especially on the financial aspect.

Admiration for the combined musical geniuses of the Beatles, Simple Plan, Blink 182, Green Day, Incubus, NoFx, Westlife, Cueshé, and System of the Down fuels the group to resolutely work for the completion of Ambot or "I don't have any idea".

"Chinita" has already caught the admiration of listeners thus resulting to consistent airplay requests lately. "Chinita" speaks of the love of Emping's life. Other tracks in the "Ambot" project are "Di Madutlan," "Ulaw-ulaw" and "Istorya."
