The Ambassadors, DJ Ram blare 'Be cool, be you, BSU!'

What's with the shirt you're donning? Does it embody attitude and individuality? Does it speak for a mindset you chose to pull on? Or does it say something about your preference in music genre?
'Be Cool, Be You, BSU!' is a call shared by "The Ambassadors," one of the prime movers of Bisaya sounds that gave you 'Ulipon' (monikered 'Gugmang Gia**y'), and by your ka-Bisrocker over the air, DJ Ramil 'Ram' Dizon of dyWF 93.1 Smash FM who now serves as front man of another aspiring Bisrock band, 'What's The Frequency?'
Because performers have to be cool when in front of hundreds of music lovers-from punkistas, reggaenistas, to hiphopping crowd and to the ruling rockistas-it has been considered that music and clothing always go together like a pair.
This is the very reason BSU (Bisa'g Unsa) Clothing-now fast becoming a byword in the increasing circle of shirt wearers from all ages-has been there first by sponsoring punk rock band "The Ambassadors" for years to date (before they head to invade mainstream Manila). In 'Ambassadors' video for the 'Senseless Song' shown over MTV and MYX music channels, BSU becomes an emblazoned art worn by one of the precursors in the upholding of local independent music. This event launched, as well, BSU's first appearance that was greeted with speechless adulation!
BSU believes that it has everything that a shirt lover could ever want. In fact, one of BSU's fast growing expression trademarks which had circulated its energies among appreciative buyers is: "Name it, BSU has it!" BSU is out to make an artistic celebration of music and art trends in its designs, even as it captures the mystique of modern and postmodern cultures from this part of Asia down to the rest of the world!
BSU has a variety of T-shirt designs for skaters and music enthusiasts as it launched products that first hogged the punkistas and its culture as a market in 2003. Right now, it is focusing on emopunk designs exemplified in the albums and music works of The Used, Fall Out Boy, and a lot other emotional punk bands.
Not to be left out of course is this age of Bisrock music. Therefore, a call to expand scope of designs to capture a broader market became a challenge to BSU artists. These new designs give meaning to BSU as either 'Be Somebody Unique' which is urged by The Ambassadors, 'Bisrock Sounds Unique' as believed by DJ Ram, and Bisaya Sounds United as given meaning by this writer, with the conviction that the effort could unite all music artists in here instead of creating an atmosphere of animosity that had stalled the evolution of local music back in the late 90s.
Today's battlecry is to be real cool in attitude, to be you in terms of music preference, to go for BSU as it comes up with a fiery design for the Bisrock-ing clans. An electric guitar set ablaze speaks of the ignited love of Cebuanos for songs composed by Bisdaks, mixed by Bisdak, sung on by Bisdaks, played on by Bisdaks. Here comes the blossoming of appreciation for a shared sub-culture that provides fruity chances and florid spaces to local talents-the very stuff out of which dreams are made, which find their appropriate shapes and forms in the hands of BSU's gifted artists!
It is fascinating to note how BSU and its artists smoothly surfaced as remarkable synthesizers of our sub-culture's plural features, as evidenced in BSU's much sought after unique shirts and mystifying designs! In due time, it would come as no surprise when BSU would be flooded with requests to issue forth collectors items, that is, the historic productions and reproductions of its famous line of shirt wear much loved by shirt enthusiasts from all ages and all walks of life!
