CCTN to launch new shows

Cebu Catholic Television Network, the only Catholic television network in the country today, is set to formally launch its new shows and programs, some of which will premiere today, March 12.
Kicking off this today over CCTN Channel 47 is a travelogue program and a variety show while four TV dramas will start airing this Monday, March 13.
The formal launching, on the other hand, will take place on March 31, Friday, to be held at the Marco Polo Hotel (formerly Cebu Plaza Hotel). Members from different sectors, including the local media, and sponsors are expected to attend. This was revealed by veteran Visayan movie actress Tess Diez, who incidentally leads the cast of the four upcoming TV series.
The drama programs are Rosa-Linda, written and directed by veteran scriptwriter-director Ricardo Feliciano; Dugong Sagrado by Rey Sumaco starring Cathy Fernandez, Roderick Bontilao and Joey Cosep; Henio, Ang Batang Genius by Sister Stella Palomo M., headlined by Joy Balboa and other members of the Catholic charismatic community Oasis of Love; and the comedy Tres Metros by Felipe Tariman featuring Dorothy Lauron, Armistes Abayan, Pakol and Ace Youth Espinosa.
Tess Diez also stands as the overall production coordinator of the above-mentioned TV series.
