Less than a week after the release of his second album dubbed "Completely," pop idol cum romantic balladeer Christian Joseph Morata Bautista lulled the sentimental heart in you to think about how to tell somebody your earnest desire to be always remembered, and to ponder on what to do to take one precious moment to last forever.
"For every minute of this life that I am breathing/Until there's nothing in this world I can believe in/As long as there's a single part of you that needs me/ I know I am gonna love you completely." So goes Christian's vow to love you completely as you move with him in this singing career that allows him to embark on a new journey, to seek and find a new territory he could fill with joy, love and inspiration. A new place, a new zone that will soon change for the better - completely!
Multi-platinum hit maker and Asia's newest pop idol Christian, who rose to fame as a finalist of ABS-CBN's "Star In A Million," reaches completion of a project via the album "Completely." Manufactured and distributed by Warner Music Philippines, "Completely," according to record bar sales, already hit Gold having sold 15,000 units already in less than a week after its release last December 6 here in the country.
The tandem that created "The Way You Look At Me" is also responsible for the album's carrier single, "Everything You Do" which has already received numerous airplays; that with familiarity comes the mouthing of chorus lines: Baby when you sleep/ I watch you breathing/ Baby when you dream/ I dream with you/ Cause everywhere you are is where I wanna be/ It's true, everything you do/ Makes me know how much I love you.
Christian chipped in his songwriting skills to complete the album. He wrote two of 12 tracks, "Now That You Are Here" and "Please Don't Go ."
The 10th track "Completely" is written by Andrew Fromm and George Teren. Other songs "Everything You Do," "I Can Love You Easy," "My Heart Has a Mind of Its Own," "Invincible," "She Could Be," "After You, Since I Found You," and "For Everything I Am" flowed from the pens of a string of romantic songwriters working for Warner Music.
In a press statement, it was learned that Christian went back to Indonesia from January 30 to February 4 to once more bring pride to the Philippines, having found a following in the said country.
Indonesia's largest TV station, RCTI, in cooperation with Warner Music Indonesia had produced a big TV special that featured Christian. Top composer/musical director and conductor Andi Rianto joined him in a 40-piece orchestra that completed the stage as Christian crooned the crowd with his certified hits both here and Indonesia.
That was the first time that a Filipino performer was afforded the privilege to have his own TV special in Indonesia. Aside from the momentous occasion, Christian had a radio promo tour in Prambors radio station, a female radio station in Indonesia; two music video shoots for the songs "Since I Found You" and "For Everything I Am."
Print publications Kompas, Femina, Gadis Nova and Jakarta Post also scheduled for an interview with Christian, as well as a guesting in MTV Indonesia for MTV Land, MTV Getar Cint and MTV What's Up. Capping the events was a press conference for the TV special with Indonesia's prominent members of the media present.
Christian, fresh from his first starring role in ABS-CBN's primetime telenovela "Kampanerang Kuba," his numerous product endorsements, concerts and regular shows and performances most especially on ABS-CBN's Sunday noontime show ASAP as part of the Champions Group, beams with pride as "Completely" found its way to international record markets like Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
In the latter, Christian is said to have enjoyed superstar status. On a recent personal visit to Bangkok with his family, he was invited to lunch by executives from Warner Music Thailand. According to general manager Santisuk Klongchaiya and marketing manager Pattanee Jareeyatana, Christian's first two singles, "The Way You Look At Me" and "Hands to Heaven" are doing very well in Thailand. As if things aren't rosy enough for the Filipino crooner, the Thai executives also said that for the past 10 years, except for Christian, no other Filipino has penetrated the Thailand market.
Christian moves on to complete this promise of a musical journey with "Until there's nothing in this world I can believe in/As long as there's a single part of you that needs me/ I know I am gonna love you..."
And he fades out with the vow of completion: "I know I am gonna love you, completely!"
