First female exec takes reins at RLC
CEBU, Philippines — Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), the real estate development arm of the Gokongwei Group, has announced the appointment of Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective February 1, 2025.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, RLC confirmed that Lance Y. Gokongwei will step down from his role as President and CEO, a position he has held since January 8, 2024. However, he will remain actively involved with the company as its Executive Chairman.

Aragon-GoBio’s appointment marks a historic milestone as she becomes the first female President and CEO of RLC.
Her ascent to this leadership role underscores the company’s commitment to progressive, merit-based advancement and diversity in leadership.
Aragon-GoBio is a trailblazer with over 30 years of experience in the real estate sector. Since joining RLC in 1993, she has risen through the ranks, holding pivotal leadership roles across logistics, residential and office developments, and mixed-use estates.
As President and CEO of Robinsons Logistix and Industrials, Inc., she established the Logistics Facilities Division as a key driver of RLC’s business portfolio. In her concurrent role as Senior Vice-President for Robinsons Destination Estates, she led the development of flagship projects such as Bridgetowne (Pasig and Quezon City), Sierra Valley (Cainta), and Montclair (Pampanga). These projects, embodying RLC’s “Live, Work, Play, Inspire” philosophy, are widely regarded as benchmarks in creating sustainable and vibrant communities.
Earlier in her career, Aragon-GoBio spearheaded the formation of RLC’s High-Rise Buildings Division, leveraging the growth of the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry to deliver robust revenues from residential and office developments.
She has also been instrumental in launching successful residential brands, forging joint ventures with global and local partners, and advancing Public-Private Partnership initiatives with various government agencies.
Aragon-GoBio graduated with a degree in Management Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University and earned a minor in International Business from the University of Antwerp.
Her expertise in real estate was further solidified when she emerged as one of the topnotchers in the 2011 Professional Regulatory Commission’s Real Estate Broker Licensure Examination.
